The Finance Commission of Sri Lanka is calling for applications from qualified citizens for the Open Competitive Examination to recruit for the post of Technical Officer (Grade III) in the Sri Lanka Technological Service. This examination will be conducted by the Department of Examinations in May 2026.
Job Role: Technical Officer (Civil)
The selected candidate will be responsible for maintaining the Finance Commission office building and its utility systems (Electrical, A/C, Plumbing, Fire Systems, etc.). The recruitment will be made to Grade III or the Training Grade based on qualifications.

Qualifications Required
Candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Educational (A/L): Passed G.C.E. (A/L) in Science/Maths/Technology stream (3 subjects in one sitting).
- Educational (O/L): Passed G.C.E. (O/L) in 06 subjects with Credit passes for Language, Maths, and Science.

Vocational (For Grade III):
- NDT (Civil) from University of Moratuwa or Hardy Institute.
- NDE (Civil) from NITA.
- HNDE (Civil) from Ministry of Education.
- NDES (Civil).
- NVQ Level 6 (Civil).
- Note: Candidates without the vocational qualification but with A/L qualifications can apply for the Training Grade.
