The Sri Lanka Standards Institution (SLSI) is inviting applications for the post of Technical Assistant. This is a permanent position in the Management Assistant - Technical Category (MA 2-2) with excellent benefits including medical insurance and annual incentives.
Job Role: Technical Assistant
There are 46 Vacancies available. The selected candidates will be responsible for technical assistance in standards and quality assurance processes. Selection will be based on a Written Competitive Examination and Interview.
Qualifications Required
Candidates must fulfill ONE of the following criteria (Option A, B, or C):
- Option A (NVQ):
- NVQ Level 5 Certificate in the relevant subject area.
- Option B (A/L + Experience):
- Passed G.C.E. (O/L) with 04 Credits (including Sinhala/Tamil, Science, English, Maths).
- Passed G.C.E. (A/L) in 03 Science subjects (including Chemistry/Physics).
- AND Minimum 02 Years of relevant experience.
- Option C (Internal Training):
- Passed G.C.E. (O/L) & A/L (Science Stream) as above.
- AND Completed 1.5 Years on-the-job training as a Trainee Technical Assistant at SLSI.
Salary & Benefits
- Salary Scale (MA 2-2): Rs. 50,540 - 90,270/- (As per MSD Circular 01/2025).
