World Bank Project Vacancies 2026 - IWWRMP (Ministry of Agriculture)

       

The Integrated Watershed & Water Resources Management Project (IWWRMP), a World Bank-funded initiative under the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock, Lands and Irrigation, is hiring Project Management Staff. These are full-time contract-based positions with attractive salaries based on the Management Services Department (MSD) Circular No. 01/2019.

Available Vacancies

Applications are invited for the following posts:

1. Project Staff (High Level)

• Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist (PS 3) - 01 Post
• Communication Officer (PS 4B) - 01 Post
• Engineer (PS 4B) - 01 Post
  (Preferred experience in Procurement & Contracts)

2. Management Assistant - 02 Posts

• Role: Assist in project implementation, maintain files, or oversee transport operations.
• Qualifications:
  • Passed G.C.E. (O/L) in 06 subjects with 04 Credits (including Language & Maths).
  • Passed G.C.E. (A/L) in 03 subjects.
  • Computer literacy and English proficiency are preferred.

3. Office Assistant - 01 Post

• Role: General office support and clerical duties.
• Qualifications: Passed G.C.E. (O/L) in 05 subjects with 02 Credit passes (including Sinhala/Tamil/English).

General Conditions

• Age Limit: Below 62 Years.
• Salary: Based on MSD Circular No. 01/2019 (Project Scale).
• Contract: Initial 01-year contract, renewable based on performance.
