Educational & Professional Requirements
Candidates must strictly meet the following criteria:
- Education: A recognized undergraduate honours degree in English, Linguistics, or TESL with First or Second Class standing.
- Postgraduate: A Doctoral Degree (PhD) in English, Linguistics, or TESL is mandatory.
- Standards: Applicants must satisfy the requirements of UGC Circular 916 for professorial appointments and SLIIT’s internal criteria.
- Experience: A strong publication record in Scopus-indexed journals and proven excellence in teaching and graduate student supervision are required.
