Important Consumer Information
As per the August 21, 2024 Revision, all water consumers in Sri Lanka are billed under a tiered structure to promote water conservation.

1.5% Rebate: Awarded if the bill is settled within 14 days.
2.5% Surcharge: Applied monthly for payments delayed over 30 days.
Standard Domestic Tariffs (Table 02)
One unit is defined as 1,000 liters (1m³). The following rates are effective for non-Samurdhi domestic households:

As per the 2024 regulations, an 18% Value Added Tax (VAT) is added to the final sum of the Usage and Service charges on every monthly bill.
New Connections & Shifting
- Domestic Reconnection: Rs. 1,000.00 + 18% VAT.
- Non-Domestic Reconnection: Rs. 3,000.00 + 18% VAT.
- Meter Testing: Refundable fee if the meter is found to be over/under registering by more than 2%.
