IOM UN Migration Recruitment 2026 – National Migration Health Physician

The International Organization for Migration (IOM) is inviting applications for the position of National Migration Health Physician (MHD). Based in Colombo, the successful candidates will lead migration health assessments and oversee clinical operations for resettlement programs.

Job Role: National Migration Health Physician (08 Positions)

Responsibilities include conducting medical examinations, managing TB and STI treatments, overseeing immunization programs, and ensuring compliance with global IOM technical guidelines and resettlement country protocols.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Education: Master's Degree in Medicine with 02 years of professional experience OR a University Degree in Medicine with 04 years of professional experience.
  • Licensing: A valid license (SLMC Reg.) to practice in Sri Lanka is mandatory.
  • Experience: Continuous clinical experience in a multidisciplinary setting; knowledge of patient safety and infection control is essential.
  • Languages: Fluency in English and Sinhalese/Tamil (Oral & Written)[cite: 1055].

Salary & Terms

  • Monthly Salary: LKR 581,720.00 (NO-B Level).
  • Appointment Type: Special Short Term Graded.
  • Duty Station: Colombo.
