The National Transport Commission (NTC), the regulatory body for passenger transport in Sri Lanka, has announced vacancies for the posts of Management Assistant and Time Keeper. Applications are invited through the online system from suitably qualified candidates.
Available Vacancies
There are 48 Vacancies in total across the following positions:
1. Management Assistant (MA 1.1) - 33 Posts
- Qualifications:
- Passed G.C.E. (O/L) with 06 subjects in one sitting (Credits for Sinhala/Tamil, English, Maths, and one other subject).
- Passed G.C.E. (A/L) in 03 subjects (New Syllabus) or 03 subjects (Old Syllabus).
- Computer Literacy is required.
- Salary: Approx. Rs. 61,112/= (Basic Rs. 43,312 + COL Allowance Rs. 17,800).
2. Time Keeper (PL 1) - 15 Posts
- Qualifications:
- Must have Sat for the G.C.E. (O/L) Examination.
- (No pass requirement mentioned - ideal for those with basic education).
- Salary: Approx. Rs. 56,288/= (Basic Rs. 38,488 + COL Allowance Rs. 17,800).
General Requirements
- Age Limit: 18 - 45 Years.
- Benefits: EPF (15%) & ETF (3%) contributions by the Commission.
- Service Conditions: Should be willing to serve in any part of the island.
