Seylan Bank, "The Bank with a Heart" and one of the most progressive banks in Sri Lanka, is seeking a competent and forward-thinking individual for the post of Legal Officer. This position is based in Kuliyapitiya.
Job Role: Legal Officer (Kuliyapitiya)
The selected candidate will be responsible for carrying out title/deed searches, preparing and attesting Mortgage Bonds, and drafting legal agreements. The role also involves appearing in courts as an instructing attorney within the North Western Province.
Qualifications & Experience
Candidates must meet the following eligibility criteria:
- Professional Qualification: Attorney-at-Law.
- Experience: Minimum of 06 Years experience.
- Licensing: Valid Notarial License in English within the jurisdiction of Kuliyapitiya High Court.
- Skills: Sound knowledge in conveyancing, computer literacy, and ability to communicate effectively in English and Sinhala.
- Preferred: Previous experience in the Commercial Banking sector is an added advantage.
