Qualifications & Requirements
Eligibility criteria for the specialist posts:
- Board Certification: Must possess MD/MS Board Certification in the relevant specialty from the Postgraduate Institute of Medicine (PGIM), University of Colombo.
- Registration: Must be registered in the Specialist Medical Register at the Sri Lanka Medical Council (SLMC) with a valid Specialist Registration Number.
- Age Limit: Applicants should be not more than 50 years of age for permanent appointments. Applicants over 50 may be considered for contract-basis appointments.
Salary & Benefits
- Salary Scale (L 03): Rs. 210,000 - 12 x 6,530 - 288,360/- per month.
- Allowances: Standard government sector allowances plus additional allowances approved by the SJGH Board.
- Terms: Permanent appointments (for those under 50) on a Provident Fund basis.
