The Sri Lanka Sustainable Energy Authority (SLSEA), the apex national institution for renewable energy under the Ministry of Energy, is seeking a visionary leader for the post of Director General / CEO. This is a high-ranking contract-based appointment with a government-approved salary scale and executive perks.
Job Role: Director General / CEO
The Director General will act as the CEO, responsible for all administrative and financial functions. He/She will provide leadership to staff, advise the Board of Management on policy matters, and drive the country's energy transition goals.
Salary & Benefits
The position offers a highly attractive remuneration package:
- Salary Scale: HM 2-3 (Rs. 173,000 - 12 x 4,850 - Rs. 231,200).

Allowances:
- Cost of Living: Rs. 17,800/-
- Professional Allowance: Rs. 25,000/-
- Mobile Allowance: Rs. 4,250/-
- Fuel Allowance: 145 Litres per month.
- Vehicle Allowance: Official Vehicle OR Monthly Allowance of Rs. 50,000/-.
Qualifications & Experience
Candidates must meet one of the following criteria:

Option 1:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Electrical/Mechanical/Process/Production/Energy).
- PLUS Chartered Engineer status (Corporate Membership) OR a Master’s Degree in Engineering.
- AND At least 20 years of experience (with 05 years at Senior Managerial Level).

Option 2:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering + PhD Degree in a relevant field.
- AND At least 05 years of experience at Senior Managerial Level.
- Age Limit: 35 - 55 Years.
