SriLankan Airlines Ltd, the National Carrier of Sri Lanka and a member of the 'oneworld' alliance, is seeking a professional and experienced individual for the post of Senior Station Supervisor based in Sydney, Australia. This role is pivotal in maintaining the airline's operational excellence and high customer service standards at the Sydney station.

Job Role: Senior Station Supervisor (Sydney)

The successful candidate will be responsible for achieving operational performance targets, including On-time Performance and Baggage Handling Reliability. Key duties involve leading the station team, liaising with Ground Handling Agents (GHA) to ensure service level standards, and maintaining a constant communication link between the Head Office and airport authorities.

Qualifications & Experience

Candidates must meet the following eligibility criteria:

• Educational Path 1: Bachelor's Degree with 2 years of work experience in Airport Passenger and Ramp Handling.
• Educational Path 2: Advanced Diploma with 4 years of work experience in Airport Passenger and Ramp Handling.
• Educational Path 3: Introductory course (IATA or equivalent) in Airport Services/Ramp/Cargo with 4 years of experience in Passenger and Ramp Handling.
• Legal Requirement: Must be an Australian Citizen or Australian Permanent Resident (PR) holder with the legal right to work in Australia.
• Advantage: Prior airline experience in a similar role and knowledge of ICAO/IATA safety and security practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Achieve assigned operational performance targets and corporate objectives.
• Negotiate and monitor Service Level Agreements (SLA) with handling agents.
• Control station expenditure within monthly budgetary allowances.
• Ensure accuracy of airport operation invoices and monetary transactions.
• Maximize revenue through excess baggage targets and airport surcharge upgrades.
