Position: Laboratory Technician - Grade III (Open Competitive Examination)

Qualifications:

• Educational: G.C.E. (A/L) passes in Chemistry and two other science subjects in one sitting AND G.C.E. (O/L) with 06 subjects in one sitting, including credits in Sinhala/Tamil/English, Mathematics, and Science.
• Professional: Diploma in Laboratory Technology in Chemistry from the Institute of Chemistry Ceylon OR Licentiate Membership (L.L.Chem C.) of the Institute of Chemistry Ceylon OR a Diploma in Chemistry/Laboratory Science from a UGC-recognized university OR NVQ Level 6 qualification in Chemistry/Laboratory Science.

Age & Residency: Candidates must be between 18 and 30 years old as of 09-03-2026 and must have been continuous residents of the Western Province for at least 03 years.

Salary: Rs. 52,250 - 100,040 (MN 3-2025).
