Organization: Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC)
Position: Assistant Manager – Internal Audit
Main Job Responsibilities:
- Monitor the implementation of the Corporate Plan and assist in strategic initiatives.
- Review monthly financial statements and address outstanding balances.
- Monitor progress on all grants provided to sports clubs and associations.
- Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for required areas within the organization.
- Liaise with external auditors and coordinate with the Sports Ministry and other government institutions.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and industry standards.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Member or Passed Finalist of ICASL/ACCA.
- A university degree in Management, Accounting, or Finance is a definite advantage.
- At least four (04) years of experience in Internal Auditing or Government Auditing/Accounting.
- Fair knowledge of the Land Law in Sri Lanka.
- Passion for cricket and a strong understanding of the sports industry.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
